In the run-up to the launch of the 100th edition of the Tour de France, the official game Tour de France 2013 – 100th Edition for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 has released an overview trailer just one week before it hits the shelves!

This 2-minute video with commentary provides an exclusive glimpse into the spectacular 100th edition of the Tour de France: from Corsica to the Champs-Élysées by night, the legendary stages await players who are eager to ride the “grande boucle”.

The video explains all you need to know about Tour de France 2013 on console; not only the basic game mechanics, but also the many new and exciting features the game has to offer this year to meet the high expectations of the players: the gameplay has been totally revamped to place real control in the hands of the players, and includes an upgraded graphic engine, the option to change rider at any time in the race and a thrilling coop multiplayer mode and head-to-head mode in split screen.

    As the 100th edition of the race, the 2013 edition will feature some of the famous climbs from the history of the race, including the Col du Tourmalet on Stage 9, a summit finish on Mont Ventoux on Stage 14, and Stage 18 in which Alpe d’Huez will be climbed twice by the riders, with the stage finishing after the second ascent.
