Digital Distributor to Carry Pre-Orders for Dragon Commander and Will Provide DRM-Free Copies of Divinity: Original Sin to Kickstarter Backers
GOG.com, DRM-free digital purveyor of all that’s good in gaming, has announced today that they will be partnering up with Larian games on their next two release titles: Divinity: Dragon Commander and Divinity: Original Sin, kicking things off with a live Google+ Hangout On Air Q&A session on Wednesday, 10 April 2013 at 2:00 GMT (10:00 AM EDT), which will reveal new gameplay footage of the game and have a special code for $2 off the pre-order for anyone who watches the Hangout On Air.
Divinity: Dragon Commander is an adrenaline-fueled mix of strategy and dragon-on-dragon combat, set in the Divinity universe that Larian has developed across its award-winning RPG series. As emperor over a land divided by bitter political struggles between factions, you must command your armies, lead your forces from astride the magnificent war machine that is your dragon, balance the needs of different peoples in your lands, and even decide on the best political alliances and marriages to undertake to secure your rule.
For anyone who loves their grand strategy games with a dash of madcap adrenaline, Dragon Commander is a sure-fire pick, and preorders will start on 10 April 2013 at 3:00 GMT (11:00 AM EDT) after the Q&A session on Google+ is finished. During the Google+ Hangout on Air, Larian Studios will be revealing a code good for an additional $2.00 off the preorder price (for a total savings of $6.99) to everyone who watches the stream.

Divinity: Original Sin, currently on Kickstarter seeking some additional funding, is a compelling RPG that, according to studio founder Swen Vincke, is the game that Larian was created to make. GOG.com will be providing backers with DRM-free copies on GOG.com, if interested, and backers of Original Sin at $65 will also receive a copy of Divinity: Dragon Commander once it launches.
