Posted by on December 25, 2009 under PC
Let's get one thing out of the way right now, Insectoid from Actionsoft isn't just a Galaga/Galaxian clone/homage, it comes in, takes the original by the hand, leads it to the front door and kicks it out. Yes, Namco really has their hands full with competition like Insectoid (just updating the graphics in a future re-release of their venerable classic isn't going to cut it this time around). Act... more.

Nintendo, ever present to capitalize on gaming trends and somehow, more often than not, do it better than others do at the time (come on, look at Mario and his many iterations for proof).  Back when the only real game in town was the NES from Nintendo, wrestling was pretty popular and game publishers were quick to jump on the ship.  Nintendo being one of them that was more about substance than f... more.

If you are old enough to remember the time when little creatures and deformed looking humans (or primates) were the mascots of the available systems then you probably remember Bonk and his three releases on the Turbo Grafx-16 system (he later crossed over to Nintendo systems with releases on the NES, SNES and even Gameboy).  Well, Hudson Entertainment is not resting on their laurels on this recen... more.

Mahjongg, a game that is really untold ages old, simple yet complicated at the same time and somewhat of an enigma in gaming (the basic gameplay is the same, and in many cases between releases so are the graphics) yet companies still make them and people still buy them.
