RedBedlam has released new content for its innovative genre-hopping FPS, Bedlam. New levels featuring a host of familiar titles twisted to a whole new perspective can now be played.
The September content patch adds gameplay to the first two gameworlds (Starfire & Death or Glory), in addition to a zombie sewer level and the inclusion of German subtitles. It also introduces the first two arcade levels, Chilli Chomper and Guano Attack – which riff on classic arcade titles Pac Man and Space Invaders. The new content expands Bedlam to 15 levels and around 3 hours of gameplay time, and includes many bug fixes.
“I’m really excited for people to experience the new content we’ve created for Bedlam. I’m incredibly proud of our work on Chilli Chomper, and as expected Pac Man is absolutely thrilling and pretty scary as an FPS.” said Nick Witcher, Marketing Director at RedBedlam.
To reflect the content added by the update, an updated trailer has been released, which now further illustrates Bedlam’s imaginative concept.
Developed in association with Standfast Interactive and mirroring the events of the novel Bedlam by acclaimed author Christopher Brookmyre, the generation-spanning FPS takes players into a unique world of action and intrigue, visiting a range of genres old and new, from arcade platformer classics to modern RTS and shooter environments, all from a first person perspective and with a smattering of author Chris Brookmyre’s trademark dark humour.
