While pre-orders continue to fly off the virtual shelves for War of the Roses, the upcoming medieval squad combat title from Paradox Interactive and Fatshark, tensions rise between the York and Lancaster factions as bloody beta battles are fought online. Now, to make things even more chaotic, the game’s developers will be joining the fray themselves, lending their combat prowess and tactical insight to any knight wise enough to hear their counsel.
Join a live streaming event with Paradox Interactive CEO Fred Wester, War of the Roses Senior Producer Gordon Van Dyke, and special guest Lead Programmer Robin Hagblom. These proud knights will elaborate upon the vicious conflict between the houses of Lancaster and York, while also randomly joining public game servers to do battle – all while taking live questions from the stream chat room.
The chaos-filled stream will begin at 11 am PDT (2 pm EDT, 7 pm GMT) and can be viewed on the official Paradox Interactive Twitch TV channel.
Any warriors who are impatient to leap into battle can gain early access to War of the Roses by pre-ordering the game from the online merchant of their choice. Every pre-order receives a FREE upgrade to the Digital Deluxe Edition, along with entry to the ongoing beta and early access prior to the game’s launch. In addition, pre-ordering knights will gain an attractive set of in-game armor – and then splatter it with the innards of their enemies.
