Developer Misfit Attic has announced that A Virus Named Tom, the highly-anticipated game based on a virus, is headed for Steam, Desura and their website on August 1st, 2012. The game will retail for $9.99.
A Virus Named Tom includes 50 levels across distinct areas, cooperative play (for up to 4 players) with over 50 additional levels, evolving mechanics, and an animated tale full of dark humor.
In addition, Misfit Attic’s High Score Contest wrapped up last night (July 24th) at midnight. They have been posting player submitted videos to their blog.
