Video Games Live is partnering with PBS to bring an exclusive concert to viewers in June 2010 (it is being filmed on February 5th, 2010 at the Lakefront Arena in New Orleans with the Louisiana Philharmonic Orchestra. There will be a DVD and Blu Ray release of the concert made available through PBS (for a limited exclusive time and then at most retailers including online stores worldwide).
Video Games Live was originally created in 2002 and has continued to captivate fans with it’s mixture of live musicians and lights and other special effects. CEO, Tommy Tallarico is one of the onstage musicians (he did the music for Terminator CD on Sega CD, released by Virgin Games, among many many other soundtracks for other games).
The Louisiana Philharmonic Orchestra is the orchestra that is owned by it’s members in the United States. LPO is dedicated to offering compelling music for fans in the Gulf Coast and from surrounding areas.
