Developer Owlcat Games and publisher Prime Matter today opened digital pre-orders for the multi-award-winning, critically acclaimed Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous. PlayStation and Xbox owners can now place a digital pre-order ahead of the epic RPG coming to consoles on Sept. 29. PlayStation Plus owners will get an additional 10% discount.
Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous will be available in both physical and digital formats for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One (PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S via backward compatibility), as well as Nintendo Switch via the Cloud.
The enhanced edition of Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous will become the standard version for the console release, featuring quality-of-life improvements, a photo mode, additional high-level content related to several mythic paths, and other features and tweaks. All owners of the PC version will also receive a free update to the Enhanced Edition on Sept. 29.
The Treasure of the Midnight Isles DLC
In addition to the eagerly anticipated console announcement, Owlcat Games also confirmed that The Treasure of the Midnight Isles—the third premium DLC for Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous—will launch Aug. 30.
Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous is now available on all major digital storefronts, including Steam, Epic Games Store, and GOG. It will also be available on consoles for PlayStation 4, Xbox One (PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S via backward compatibility), and Nintendo Switch (via Cloud) versions slated for release on Sept. 29th, 2022. Prime Matter, PLAION’s premium gaming label, will distribute the physical console copies.
