(Update) Dead Rising’s Frank West as a playable character in TvC. Tatsunoko VS Capcom Ultimate All-Stars

In a surprise announcement at the Tokyo Game Show today, Capcom announced that Dead Rising’s photographer, Frank West, will be a playable character in Capcom’s new fighter Tatsunoko VS Capcom Ultimate All-Stars. TvsC is scheduled for a January 26, 2010 release in the U.S. At the show, In-game screenshots were released of Frank West doing what he does best: taking photos and using weapons like baseball bats. Word on the street says that Frank West will also use other weapons from Dead Rising. Could we see a trashcan in Frank’s future?
