Today Pearl Abyss and Kakao Games announced that the brand new “Lahn” class has been added to Black Desert Online’s famed character creator. Now with the release of the new Lahn class, players will have a whole new template to work with and have a week to tinker and customize her features before she is unleashed to the Black Desert Online world on May 23rd.
With the addition of Lahn, players can now choose between 16 diverse classes, each of which has the unique real-time action combat abilities for which Black Desert Online is famed for. A new combat trailer has been released today that showcases Lahn ’s elegant fighting style and abilities.
With the Lahn pre-customization event, adventurers will have a chance to win Lahn’s Orchid Fall Classic Set and Merv’s Palette (30 Days) by participating in the Lahn Customization Contest. For more information on this event, please go here.
In addition, all players who create their Lahn class before regular maintenance on May 23rd will receive the following rewards: Horse Flute (7D), Item Collection Increase Scroll x3, Gold Bar 100G. Additionally, players will receive a Book of Combat (7D), Blessing of Kamasylve (7D) and Gold Bar 100G when they subscribe to the Black Desert Online newsletter before next week’s maintenance.
About Lahn
Lahn is a master of martial arts who trained in a dynasty of the far east. Her story begins by becoming a priestess but falls to an evil scheme, which causes her to tragically lose her lover in the battlefield. Grieved by her loss, she realizes that strength is the only way to achieve her ideals. Determined to return to her home one day and protect the ones she loves, she embarks on a journey in search of greater power.
The upcoming female class uses a new weapon type that is exclusive to her, an extendable main-hand weapon called the Crescent Pendulum. This is a crescent-moon shaped blade on the end of a long piece of cloth. She throws and swings her weapon with immaculate grace and completes her deadly arsenal with the Noble Sword, a short blade that is her off-hand weapon. Lahn is a very speedy and agile class that utilizes dance-like combat moves. Her Nimbus Stride skill lets her gracefully glide through the air, displaying both elegance and power.
