Paradox Interactive, a publisher of games you’ll play from 30 years to life, today released Prison Architect: Mobile, a touch-screen version of the BAFTA award-winning management simulation game from Introversion Software. Prison Architect: Mobile, a game that challenges players to design, build, and maintain their own maximum security prison, is available today for iPad and Android tablets.
The game is free to download and play, while additional in-game features and content are available for purchase.
Prison Architect: Mobile, developed by Introversion Software and Tag Games, challenges players to construct and manage a maximum security prison, from laying out cell blocks and inmate facilities to managing staff pay and prisoner morale. Prison designs will include basic necessities like cells, canteens, guard rooms, and infrastructure, but players can also include features like solitary confinement, workout areas, and even an execution chamber.
Careful consideration and strategy will be required to keep prisons operating and growing — and avoiding budget shortfalls or violent riots. Players can begin the game for free and play through the game’s opening campaign chapter, with more challenges and storylines available in additional chapters via in-game purchase.
