Publisher Iceberg Interactive and developer Zoetrope Interactive is honoured to announce that IndieCade’s selected Lovecraftian horror game Conarium to showcase at IndieCade Festival 2017. Conarium was chosen out of 1,000 submissions by IndieCade’s international panel of judges and curatorial team as worthy of exhibiting at the prestigious festival.
Conarium is a Lovecraftian horror game strongly influenced by H.P. Lovecraft’s novella “At the Mountains of Madness”, but set after the original story. The game follows Frank Gilman, one of four scientists who went on an Antarctic expedition to challenge what we normally consider to be the “absolute” limits of nature.
Conarium was released for PC on June 6th to critical and community acclaim. The game holds a 92% positive rating on Steam. After the success of the PC release, Conarium is slated for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in early 2018.
Conarium will showcase in the IndieCade/spaces exhibit, focusing on games that excel at exploration and embodiment. The spaces exhibition can be found in the Inahara Foyer – Upstairs at the Japanese American National Museum. We formally welcome all interested parties to come and be terrorized by this cosmic horror experience.
IndieCade, the International Festival of Independent Games, will be held from October 6th – 8th in Little Tokyo, Los Angeles, CA. Interested visitors can purchase their tickers here:
