Independent developer Underbite Games – in collaboration with hobby games design studio Soda Pop Miniatures – is excited to formally announce today the summer release of the cute and charming turn-based strategy game Super Dungeon Tactics on Windows PC, Mac and Linux. A hands-on demo of the game with all-new content will be playable for the first time at this year’s PAX East 2016 in Boston, MA from April 22 – 24, 2016.
Super Dungeon Tactics is a turn-based strategy game in which players create a guild of heroes to combat the Dark Consul’s forces throughout the land of Crystalia. As a new guild master, players will command their heroes through a Chibi-style fantasy world, filled with random encounters, side quests, and amazing loot as they discover their universe by their own means, conquering any challenges in their path.
Based on the hit tabletop Super Dungeon board game series by Soda Pop Miniatures, Super Dungeon Tactics brings the exciting dungeon-crawling action of the existing combat board game to PCs, with beautifully designed 3D levels and adorable miniature chibi characters and monsters. With loot-based leveling and dice-driven light RNG (Random Number Generation), Super Dungeon Tactics provides players with unique and surprising challenges requiring strategic character management, while delivering fun, balanced gameplay.
