Today, Ubisoft announced that Siege Day, a star-studded launch event in celebration of Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six® Siege, will take place on Monday, November 23rd, 2015 at Exchange LA in Los Angeles. Streaming on twitch.tv/Rainbow6, Siege Day will kick off with a special undercard tournament featuring the winners from The Siege Games at 2 pm PST, with the main event premiering at 6 pm PST. The broadcast will feature exclusive gameplay reveals, popular personalities, celebrities, giveaways and much more.
Siege Day is the culmination of The Siege Games, a competitive tour that took place at major gaming events around the US where gamers battled for the highest score in Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege. Thirty total winners from The Siege Games events will step into the Siege Day arena in Los Angeles to show off their skills. Along the way, they’ll mingle with famous faces, experience insane surprises, and raise money for charity in this action-packed event live streamed to the world.
Additionally, Ubisoft and Extra Life, a Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals fundraising program, announced that their partnership had a total impact of over $80,000 for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals throughout North America in 2015. Anyone who donated $6 or more to Extra Life received a code for guaranteed access to the Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege Closed Beta. Donations help sick and injured kids in local communities and fund medical research and training, purchase life-saving equipment and pay for uncompensated patient care.
Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege will be available worldwide on December 1 for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 computer entertainment system and Windows PC.
