Paradox Interactive today released a new trailer for Magicka 2, the dynamic spellcasting co-op action game that hits all the right notes. The new trailer shows a new slice of Magicka 2’s gameplay to the public, and also debuts the hidden singing talents of Magicka 2’s robe-clad musical, magical miscreants in the first-ever (and very probably only-ever) Magicka 2 Karaoke Video.
Since nobody here at Paradox can ever understand what madness is melodically bursting forth from the Wizards of Magicka 2, a contest is being held to allow the ambitious and foolhardy to create their own karaoke music video.
Magical music video directors can nab an instrumental version of the Magicka 2 song from the trailer, along with an .mp4 video file with the lyrics, so that they can sing along and create their own karaoke video.
Winners will find themselves the owner of a super cool prize, so get those creative juices flowing and try not to set anything on fire. Especially cats.
In Magicka 2, the robe warriors from Paradox’s classic action-catastrophe game are back with new adventures, new abilities, and new ways to “accidentally” destroy your friends.
Coming to PC and, for the first time, PS4, Magicka 2 now includes local multiplayer, a game-altering “artifact” system, and more robes than you can fit in a magical wardrobe to another dimension. Magicka 2 is scheduled for launch in early 2015.
