Among the eastern Shorewind tribe, Viridian hunted whales with only a knife, diving alone into the dark and cold to provide meat, blubber, and oil. Even to his tribe, his blessings are horrifying, and before he bonded with the Spirit of Finesse, he lived alone and apart.
Viridian is a melee, physical damage Assassin who focuses solely on doing massive damage to a single target. Viridian is suited both to the Gladiator and Hunter roles, always performing best when paired with (or ganking the lane of) Shapers who can help set up his massive burst combo.
Viridian’s core kit allows him to dominate duels against almost any target, as well as has enough mobility and damage to corner and assassinate targets in a hectic teamfight.
Viridian’s core combo can be one of the most devastating in the game, but requires tricky set up that can be interrupted by mobile targets or enemy crowd control – use Viridian’s ultimate and mobility wisely to counter these strategies.
- ● Passive – Rage Shaper – Adrenal Glands – Viridian uses Rage to cast his abilities. Viridian is healed whenever his Rage drains or is consumed.
- ● Q – Knife Toss – Viridian throws a knife at the closest target prioritizing Shapers, dealing damage and causing them to take increased damage from Viridian.
- ● W – Surge – Viridian dashes in target direction, then gains increased movespeed and damage on his next basic attack which allows Surge to be reactivated when used.
- ● E – Heartstrike – Deals massive damage to target enemy based on his Rage. Viridian will remove any Knives in the target, returning them to his supply and allowing the target to be knifed again.
- ● R – Deep Rising – Viridian summons a giant Cetan Whale in target direction, impaling the first Shaper struck and dragging them along with him. Any other Shapers hit get knocked away.
