Magus – Now Available on European PlayStation Network

Aksys Games wishes to announce that Magus, a thrilling adventure of magic and riveting battles, is now available on the PlayStation 3 computer entertainment system in Europe via PlayStation Network!

Co-developed with indie developer, Black Tower, utilizing Unreal Engine 3, Magus brings forth a quest of unparalleled bravery, the struggle of one man to become more than fate would allow.

To further the enjoyment of Magus, a few pieces of DLC will be available: The Rebel Enclave and Archives areas, as well as a new (free) hairstyle for Magus that may invoke a sense of nostalgia.

A Struggle for Power:

● Having been imprisoned, tortured for several years, and not yet realizing the potential of the power within him, all seems lost for Magus until the day he is confronted by another prisoner, a young woman named Kinna. After convincing Magus of his godly powers that only need awakening, Kinna sets Magus free, and the two narrowly make their escape. However, with two warring factions seeking to enslave him and use his powers for their own selfish desires, how will Magus overcome the odds to become the god that he was meant to be?

Addictive Loot System:

● Around any corner a helpful, new piece of armor may lie. Discover and equip yourself with various helmets, rings, belts, plates of armor and more. Magically endowed jewels can also be grafted into the loot that you find to further your strength over your deadly foes.

Decimate Enemies with the Power of Chromatic Arcana:

● Players will choose how to flesh out the destructive powers of Magus. He can learn to raise the dead, cast hellish fireballs, and alter time around him, leaving enemies at Magus’ mercy. The ability to teleport and float can also be gained, allowing Magus to wield great control over the battlefield.
