Indie development studio Moonshot Games and indie game publisher gameblyr are partnering to bring a playable iOS demo of Third Eye Crime to PAX East 2014 later this month.
Third Eye Crime is a stealth puzzle game featuring Rothko, a smooth-talking criminal who can telepathically predict where enemies will move to attempt to thwart his heists. Players must rely on skill and their “third eye” to deftly make an escape.
Third Eye Crime offers a unique twist to the stealth puzzle game genre. The goal is not just to avoid being caught by the enemy, but to misdirect enemies, leading them on a wild goose chase so the player can make a clean escape. The game’s noir-style visuals are set to a soulful jazz soundtrack, coming together to create a stylistic gameplay experience.
“Gameblyr is committed to working with talented indie developers to bring quality gaming experiences to all platforms,” said Marco Mereu, CEO of gameblyr. “Following up on last year’s success with Pathogen, we’re proud to debut another game of that caliber like Third Eye Crime. Noir stealth puzzlers are now a thing and we are pumped to be a part of that.”
Third Eye Crime will be playable in the MassDiGI Made in MA: The State of Play booth (#499).
