Today, Ubisoft welcomes gamers onboard as Assassins Creed IV Black Flag, the latest installment of the award-winning franchise, sets sail into the next generation of gaming in North America on Xbox One, the all-in-one games and entertainment system from Microsoft.

Assassins Creed IV Black Flag is now available on Xbox One and Windows PC rated M for Mature.
Three editions of Assassins Creed IV Black Flag are available for PC:
- ● The Standard Edition, available as retail or digital formats.
- ● The Gold Edition with Season Pass, a premium edition including the game, as well as bonus in-game content including new locations to discover and explore, additional customization items and a new adventure starring Aveline as the main character.
- ● The Uplay Gold Edition with Season Pass, an exclusive digital package including all the contents from the Gold Edition, plus an additional in-game pack, Pride of the West Indies. This bonus content is exclusive to the Uplay GOLD edition, available for pre-order.
The Standard Edition, Gold Edition, and Uplay Gold Edition are all available in digital PC download format. Players who pre-order the PC download version of the Standard or Uplay Gold Edition will get additional in-game bonus content.
Assassins Creed IV Black Flag is now available on PlayStation 4 computer entertainment system, PlayStation 3 computer entertainment system, the Xbox 360 games and entertainment system from Microsoft and the Wii U system from Nintendo.
Assassins Creed IV Black Flag tells the story of Edward Kenway, who falls from privateering for the Royal Navy into piracy as the war between the major empires comes to an end. Edward is a fierce pirate and a seasoned fighter who soon finds himself embroiled in the ancient war between Assassins and Templars. Set at the dawn of the 18th century, the game features some of the most infamous pirates in history, such as Blackbeard and Charles Vane, and takes players on a journey throughout the West Indies during a turbulent and violent period of time that becomes known as the Golden Age of Pirates.
Ubisoft has also announced the Assassins Creed IV Black Flag Season Pass for $19.99, which includes Freedom Cry a a brand new, more than 4 hours long, self-contained story featuring Edward Kenways first mate Adewale, the exclusive Kraken Ship Pack, additional single-player missions, weapons, skins and collectibles, as well as new characters for an expansive multiplayer experience.
Assassins Creed IV Black Flag Season Pass grants a 20 percent savings off the regular price of each individual downloadable pack included. The Season Pass will be available for Xbox One, Xbox 360 and Windows PC, PlayStation 4 system and PlayStation 3 system.
