Plastic Piranha, developer of the upcoming multiplayer shooter, Rekoil, is excited to announce the latest addition to its team, as Melonie Mac is the team’s new community manager. Rekoil is currently in closed beta as the team readies the competitive shooter for launch.
Melonie is a hardcore competitive gamer who’s not only lit up local tournaments in games like Super Smash Brothers Melee and Super Smash Brothers Brawl — while attaining a 2K+ Arena Rating in 3v3 during World of Warcraft’s Cataclysm — but many may recognize her as “The Ringer” in Miller Lite’s video game commercial currently airing across the US. She posted an intro video on YouTube to talk about joining the Rekoil team.
Having worked with Razer and Ubisoft, Melonie brings a wealth of experience in the eSports realm to the team. She’s a prolific livestreamer and regularly shares videos on her highly popular YouTube channel.
When she’s not gaming, Melonie Mac is often found drawing digital fan art of some of her favorite game characters, reading comics and manga, watching anime, and playing guitar.
