Video game publisher Ubisoft and Rock the Vote have announced the Art of the Assassin traveling exhibit, featuring inspired artwork from top contemporary artists, will debut in New York City on Wednesday, October 10. The Art of the Assassin will be showcased at The Hole (theholenyc.com) in New Yorks SoHo neighborhood, home to world-renowned artists and galleries since the 70s, from 6:007:30 pm. Following the Art of the Assassin exhibit, fans and newcomers alike can experience the Assassins Creed III video game on the show floor at New York Comic Con from October 1114.
Sharing Rock the Votes passion for art, Art of the Assassin is a traveling exhibit that showcases original Assassins Creed III-inspired works from some of todays most distinguished contemporary artists. The nationwide tour premiered in Los Angeles in August with works by Ariel Erestingcol, Artek, DualForces, Justin Bartlett, Mark Dean Veca, Racecar 13, Dora Drimalas, Thank You X and Brian Flynn. The tour concludes at the end of October with an auction that gives consumers a chance to bid on these exclusive works, with proceeds going directly to Rock the Vote.
Earlier this year, Ubisoft and Rock the Vote announced a partnership through the presidential election with a number of innovative consumer initiatives including the Art of the Assassin tour and a special Assassins Creed III activation on Rock the Votes legendary Road Trip, bringing musical performances and voter registration to colleges nationwide.
Rock the Vote is the nations leading nonpartisan organization working to mobilize young people to participate in our countrys democracy and vote in every election. The Assassins Creed franchise, known for story lines inspired from history books, brings the action stateside for the first time, with players fighting for freedom during the American Revolution.
The Hole is located at 312 Bowery, New York, NY in the SoHo area. Assassins Creed III, on track to be the biggest launch in Ubisoft history, is set to release on October 30.
