Square Enix, the publisher of Square Enix interactive entertainment products in the Americas, announced today that Final Fantasy III, is now available on the PlayStation Network for $19.99.
The PlayStation Network version of Final Fantasy III features graphics optimized for the 16:9 screen, an image gallery, an option to switch to the original background music, and an auto-battle system that doubles the speed of combat.
Final Fantasy III was a hallmark of innovation for the entire series, from the job system that lets characters change classes at any time to the ability to summon powerful creatures – and now you can take advantage of the PlayStation Network release to enjoy it all over again. First released in Japan in 1990, Final Fantasy III was the first title in the series to become a million-seller.
