Konami Digital Entertainment, today announced that Zombie Apocalypse: Never Die Alone, the follow up to 2009’s smash-hit twin-stick action shooter, is now available for download on the PlayStation Network for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox LIVE Arcade for the Xbox 360. Featuring all-new gameplay and characters, the Apocalypse returns with a vengeance.
In Zombie Apocalypse: Never Die Alone, gamers play as four unlikely heroes who are put to the test when the Zombie Apocalypse hits their small Canadian Island. Banding together for both humor and survival, and armed with weapons including guns, chainsaws, and C4 teddy bears, the heroes must band together to find a way to survive the zombie hordes and get off the island.
Featuring all new squad-based gameplay, players control all four characters onscreen, hotswapping between them to activate each character’s unique set of weapons and abilities. As a survivor, you can decide whether to mow down zombies using Jeremy’s submachine gun, throw down a turret using Alma’s special ability, heal the injured with Father Bill, or start a zombie dance party with Def Money’s boombox, and more. With the option to go into action alone or with up to four players cooperatively locally or online, players will need to navigate through the island finding various ways to obliterate their zombie aggressors while keeping an eye out for any remaining human survivors. The end goal – find a way off the island deathtrap, save who they can and keep each other alive.
Zombie Apocalypse: Never Die Alone is rated M for Mature by the ESRB and is now available for download on Xbox LIVE Arcade for 800 Microsoft Points and PlayStation Network for $9.99.
