Eutechnyx today announced the addition of world famous British race track Silverstone for play by beta testers of Auto Club Revolution. Silverstone, the home of British Motorsport, joins custom race track L.A. River and officially licensed Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps totalling three tracks to be added to the beta test since launching at the end of July.
Eutechnyx creative manager Mark Barton said; “As with all of our licensed race tracks, Silverstone has been constructed with an emphasis on authenticity and attention to detail.” He continues; “Tracks in Auto Club Revolution are built using the highest video game production standards meaning we can deliver an experience over and above what players can normally expect from a free-to-play game.”
The Eutechnyx team chose Silverstone’s 2010 Grand Prix Circuit configuration to release into Auto Club Revolution after a successful and productive start to closed beta testing. Executive producer Doug Wolff said; “Each of our testers have contributed to a fantastic start to closed beta, including driving over one hundred and forty thousand kilometres, that’s over three times around the planet.” He continues; “We’ve given out over 4,000,000 experience points (EXP), 10,000 Race Pins and we’ve seen our community start to grow with over 20,000 messages and lines of chat in the Race Hangouts.”
Eutechnyx continue to progress the Auto Club Revolution closed beta by increasing the number of testers on the platform. Product manager Jason Collins said; “We continue to welcome new testers into this test phase each week and encourage applications for the next phase at www.autoclubrevolution.com”.
