Ubisoft announced today that a multi-player demo of Driver San Francisco for the Xbox 360 and for the PlayStation 3 is now available in North America.
The multi-player demo features 2 competitive online modes:
- Tag – Up to six players compete to be the first to score 100 points. Points are awarded by holding the tag. The match starts with the tag being held by an AI vehicle. The tag is passed between players by colliding with the tag vehicle. The game mode has a time limit of 6 minutes. The player who reaches the 100 point score limit first, or has the highest score after 6 minutes have elapsed, wins the match.
- Trailblazer – Up to six players compete to be the first to score 100 points. Points are earned by staying in the yellow trails of the AI controlled trailblazer car (highlighted in yellow) as it drives a pre-determined route through the city. Staying in the trails will turn them blue to indicate that the player is scoring. The game mode also has a time limit of 6 minutes. The player who reaches the 100 point score limit first, or has the highest score after 6 minutes have elapsed, wins the match.
The Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 single and multi-player demos of Driver San Francisco are now available on Xbox LIVE and PlayStation Network for download in North America.
Driver San Francisco will ship in North America on September 6, 2011 for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and Wii.
