Portable gaming has come a long way. For the first time in its history, X-Men Arcade is appearing on a portable device. Coming soon to the Apple App Store, X-Men Arcade includes all 6 original X-Men characters: Cyclops, Colossus, Wolverine, Storm, Nightcrawler and Dazzler.
The game supports drop-in multiplayer via Wi-Fi with up to four players. According to Konami, special attention was given to the Touch-based controls; there is also total button placement freedom.
X-Men Arcade offers social features through Open Feint (Leaderboard and Achievements), Facebook Connection (Publish Scores) and Game Center (Leaderboard and Achievements).
Additional features include single-sign-on ease of connectivity with social features and the rumored inclusion of the famed Konami code.
X-Men Arcade will function on iOS 3.1.3 powered devices: iPad, iPad 2, iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS, and the 3rd generation iPod touch.
