Diary of a Hunter is one hunter’s experience in the wild. It will be an on-going diary that will have weekly/monthly updates with personal in-game journal entries, patch notes, updates, and other material dedicated to TheHunter.com.

| Welcome to the weekly Status Update!
We’re doing the final stretches on the bear, the new environment and the new game server. Doing the final polish, tweaking and bug fixes not to mention the testing. We aim for a release next week unless anything major appears (a so called “blocker”). Because of the migration of data we need to do from the current server and database to the new game server there will likely be some downtime, but we will try to keep it at a minimum. The new environment that has until now gone under it’s working name “Canadian Woods” is now finally called [b]Redfeather Falls[/b]. Here is a screenshot of the HunterMate showing the map of the new area:
It’s roughly double the size of Whitehart Island. Here’s another map to set it in perspective.
