Diary of a Hunter is one hunter’s experience in the wild. It will be an on-going diary that will have weekly/monthly updates with personal in-game journal entries, patch notes, updates, and other material dedicated to TheHunter.com.

Welcome to this Status Update! Last week we set up a goal to the community – get 500 likes on our facebook page and we’ll show you some preview footage of the bear. Of course you guys did it, so here is some bear preview for you! Besides reaching 500 likes and getting the video, you also helped us create some buzz about the game among your friends who saw you “liking” theHunter. This is worth a lot! Being a small company (really, really small in terms of being a game developer of a game with this quality; add to that being our own publisher, developing the server side stuff as well as operations and managing support) we very much rely on you, the community, to get the word out and recruit new players. Our goal is to be able to continue doing what we love – developing theHunter into an even more truly remarkable game. We don’t want to be an anonymous game developer behind a publisher that only communicates through press releases. We want to be personal! Previously we’ve done some developer interviews, but in the coming weeks we take this to the next step to show you more who we are and get you to know the different team members. Along those lines we’re also working on something to help you help us. Getting something back for each member you manage to get into the game. More info will come… On another topic, we’re running a poll and wants your feedback about your thoughts around in-game voice communication. Please see this thread.
