Iceberg Interactive and Mohican have just signed a distribution deal that will allow Mohican to bring to France several titles in full localized editions in the first half of 2010. Some of the titles that will be making their way to France soon include Adam’s Venture: The Search for the Lost Garden and the Dark Fall: Lost Souls and Darkness Within 2: The Dark Lineage.
Adam’s Venture is a non-violent adventure title with some bibilical undertones that uses the Unreal 3 engine to power it’s third person view.
Dark Fall: Lost Souls is a point and click title with a very dark, more gritty feel. Lost Souls places the player in the role of an inspector that has seen better days thanks to a little girl that disappeared in Dowerton, a town where the afterlife is not so after.
Darkness Within is another point and click title but this time with Lovecraft stylings that will definitely send chills up your spine (make sure to play in the dark for maximum effect). Taking on the role of police detective Hoard Loreid, gamers are tasked with figuring out just what happened for detective Loreid to be put in a mental institute. What is hidden in his past that probably shouldn’t be revealed?
CEO of Iceberg Interactive, Erik Schreuder had this to say, “We can’t wait to see several of our high quality adventurs brought to French gamers and think Mohican is going to be a great partner for us. This could be the start of an exciting long-term co-operation.”
Bruno Valenti, the Managing Director of Mohican Distribution says, “We are very happy to start this very promising cooperation with such great games. We are really enthusiastic about it and will make our best efforts to allow them to achieve the success they deserve in our market.”
