Prime Games and Daedalic have extended their cooperative agreement with the release of 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea, a new hidden object game coming to PC’s and Mac’s. 20K is based around the phantastic world created by Jules Verne in his beyond classic story of the same name.
In the game, scientist Pierre Arronax and his loyal crew of his servant, Conseil, and harpooner, Ned Land, have been taken prisoner on the Nautilus. Anyone familiar with the book knows that the Nautilus is the submarine captained by the legend of the sea, Captain Nemo. Captain Nemo has taken the three prisoners as new crew members (how else did you think he would replenish lost crew? Advertising?).
Gameplay is like most hidden object games, scenes that at first seem cluttered but using the list of words you slowly find the objects in the picture. Scenes depict the locations described in the original novel mixed with mini-games to break up the object finding fun.
