Bass Pro Shops, you know those extremely large outdoors stores that are in various cities, is in games now, at least they are licensing out to developers and Griffin International has just released some screens for Bass Pro Shops: The Hunt, a game coming to the Nintendo Wii (and Xbox 360 and Windows). What sets BPS:TH apart from other hunting games is the motion sensing rifle controller and well, look at the pics, this isn’t your normal hunting game, there is BIG game in this, well, game.
Digital hunters are given a chance to hunt some of the most famous locations in North America in The Hunt (for some reason that sentence reminds me of the Irem shooter from years ago). A hunting game wouldn’t be much of a hunting game without some form of weapons to hunt with and The Hunt provides more than a couple of options including bolt-action rifles, pistols and bows. Other helpful items include a GPS device and official Bass Pro Shop gear like scents, blinds and calls.
