Promised Land 2017 – “Announces First Speakers”

CD PROJEKT RED, creators of The Witcher series of games, announces first speakers to appear at this year’s Promised Land in September.

Opening this year’s lineup is Johnson Ting, a concept artist working for Project Triforce, where he’s involved in the design, pre-production and development of collectibles for titles like Gears of War 4, Mortal Kombat X, Paragon, the Call of Duty franchise, Halo 5, Resident Evil 7, Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon: Wildlands, and Horizon: Zero Dawn.

Also joining Promised Land is Magdalena Dadela, senior character artist at Eidos Montreal, where she’s currently working on a yet unannounced project. Throughout her career she’s worked for companies like Ubisoft, Industrial Light & Magic and Guerrilla Games, and on game series like Assassin’s Creed, Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell, as well as the movie Warcraft.

Finally, there’s Peter Han — freelance concept artist and teacher with over 13 years of professional experience. Han’s created work for studios including Sony Interactive Entertainment San Diego and Trion Worlds. Since 2010, he’s been teaching design fundamentals at several schools based in Los Angeles, CA, including Art Center College of Design, Concept Design Academy and CG Master Academy.
