Fishdom: Seasons under the Sea (Review) PC

Hooked on Fishdom and want more?  Fishdom’s Seasons Under the Sea will reel you in.  Playrix has another hit by combining 3 great Fishdom games, Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas.

Upon starting the game, you will get your choice of timed or relaxed and three tanks, Tank-or-Treat, Tanksgiving, or Deep Sea Cheer.  Each tank has fish and decorations  that correspond to its season.

Tank-or-Treat has a skeleton fish, Tanksgiving has a Turkey fish, and Deep Sea Cheer features a Santa fish.  If you do the timed version, you will get extra money for whatever time you have left when you clear the board.  You must complete one tank from each season before you can do a second of any tank.  To complete the tanks you will need to fill bars to 100% at least once.

These bars are for fish, decorations, and comfort.  The first time you fill the bars in the aquarium you will receive a bronze trophy, the second a silver, and the third, a gold.  These trophies will give you a cash bonus as well.  Playrix has a feature as well that allows you to use your aquarium as a screen saver.

You can also watch your aquarium in the game as well, I found this to be very relaxing.  As with all Fishdom games I found myself hooked once again.

The game plays like other fishdom games, different shaped boards that will make you think and strategize for the best score and time.  There are some levels where you will need to create bombs to clear the boards.  These include the ones where there are tiles that must be cleared by bombs as they cant’ be reached in any other way.

You create bombs by matching four or more tiles.  The more tiles you match the bigger the bombs.  The boards that you play feature all your favorite icons, from the 3 seasons to shells and turtles.  Seasons Under the Sea was fun to play and offered a challenge.

I found myself having to complete several levels multiple times when time ran out, only to have one tile that I hadn’t cleared.  Playrix has created a game that holds your attention and is addicting in all forms.  Perfect for that person who loves games but  always wants a challenge.  Well worth the time and effort.
