Royal Envoy (Review) PC

Ever want to build your own village?  Royal Envoy by Playrix is your answer .

(http://www.playrix.com/games/pc/royal-envoy.html $19.95)  You play the chief architect, in charge of building each village.  You manage the resources including building different types of homes, businesses such as a sawmill and bank, collecting taxes and beautifying the village.

If the level is completed before the gold timer runs out, a gold star is awarded for that level.

Each level has goals that need to be met, such as building 3 cottages and a sawmill and increase in complexity as the levels go up.  These include improving your buildings with siding and gardens and building markets and banks.

You will come across obstacles to your goals such as pirates blocking the path to where you need to go and will need to pay a ransom to get them to move.  Each new goal is fully explained and tracked as progress is made.  If you mess up a level you can go  back and restart it. You can also repeat a level if you want to try to earn a gold star for that level.

The story is fun to follow and each level keeps you on your toes as you try to get more done in limited time.  (But no worries, there is no royal ransom to pay if you don’t complete it before the gold timer runs out). This games allows for multiple people to have their own saves (great for a family).  Royal Envoy can and should be enjoyed by people of all ages.
