Long-time game developer and publisher Telegames has been approved as a developer for Nintendo Wii U. For almost a decade, Telegames focused its software development on portable systems including Game Boy Color, Game Boy Advance, Nintendo DS, Nintendo 3DS, and Apple iPad.
The Wii U will be Telegames’ first involvement with game consoles since PlayStation and PC products were developed and published in the early 2000’s.
“We are thrilled to return to game consoles but will continue to actively support portable systems as well,” said Terry Grantham, company president. “We have projects in design that we feel will not only maximize the use of the console features but also establish new standards for gameplay interaction via the visuals available on the Wii U GamePad screen.”
Telegames plans to bring new and exciting titles to Wii U that take full advantage of its revolutionary controller.
