Last-minute victory from a well aimed kick brings test to a dramatic close in Rugby Challenge 2: the Lions Tour Edition
Home Entertainment Suppliers Pty (HES) and Alternative Software brought together the two sides in a climactic battle a day early to predict the final outcome of the British & Irish Lions Australia tour of 2013.
In a close match that saw the Qantas Wallabies narrowly defeated in the final moments by a jaw-dropping kick from Leigh Halfpenny, the two teams brought all the skill and determination that has been building over the course of the tour surging forth, ending with an 18-17 finish in favour of the Lions.
Rugby Challenge 2: The Lions Tour Edition features the official licensed British and Irish Lions 2013 Tour of Australia campaign and the final match, British & Irish Lions vs. Qantas Wallabies took place to simulate the result of tomorrow’s real life match in action.
Leigh Halfpenny was undoubtedly the star player with a well-placed kick from the 22 in the last three minutes of the game, echoing the classic Australia v England world cup battle of 2007. One of those was scored by O’Driscoll, who stormed through the Aussie ranks at the five metre line, while the other two were brought forth by winning runs from Tommy Bowe.
The Qantas Wallabies saw tries from Joe Tomane and Christian Lealiifano, with a surprise try from Benn Robinson following a nail-biting five metre scrum, converted by Kurtley Beale.
