The box office smash hit Kane and Lynch is back for more in Dog Days. While the first one was inspired by the awesome fighting scene from the movie “Heat”, Kane and Lynch has now taken us overseas to Shanghai. The game feels like it’s forming its own identity without sacrificing any of the hardcore action you’ve come to love. Kane and Lynch still has the same gritty and raw atmosphere that made the first one so darn real.
The weapons you encounter in Dog Days have the recoil you would come to expect along with a cool cover system. The thrill of taking cover as you inch your way up a street is nothing short of amazing. This has been the only franchise that has been capable of capturing the look and feel of an action/thriller movie; it excites me knowing that they haven’t lost that element.
Sometimes when a game spawns a sequel, things seem to get lost in the translation. This my friends, I assure you, hasn’t happened here. If you were a fan of the original with its heart-stopping drama and non-stop action, then you are in for the ride of your life. I haven’t been able to put down the demo since I begun playing it hours ago. The exclusive demo has the following features available: Story Mode, Arcade Mode and online play in the multiplayer section.
