Got a nagging simbling or a bothersome neighbor or just interested in seeing the mail man in a game (OK, that last one may be a little weird)? Konami has a game for you then, Foto Showdown for the Nintendo DSi is a turn based strategy RPG that allows you to do the above things and many many more to people and animals around you in your daily life.
We have three videos here, the first is the game trailer that Konami has released, check it out for a good mix of gameplay and highlights.
The second video shows players how easy it is to turn an irritating big sister into a mean, warrior bred Orc.
The third video shows off changing real life enemies such as a snarling dog, a bully and a next door neighbor that probably has seen happier days into creatures for your game all ready to tear you apart.
How does Foto Showdown do this? Using the DSi camera, FS uses an advanced color recognition algorithm to create the enemies based on the prominent colors in the pictures that you take. Featuring over 70 levels of turn based strategic battling is just the start. Taking on opponents and winning tournaments with you custom created creatures allows you to upgrade your monster’s powers and even purchase newer more powerful weapons for use in battle (you can even get medicine and tools that will effect your enemy adversely, lowering their stats). Additionally, the longer your creature is able to last, the stronger they become, can you create the ultimate monster from your sibling or will it be your neighbor?
