Diluvion is a game by Arachnid Games that puts the characters at the bottom of the ocean after the gods put them there to teach them a lesson. Humanity was originally supposed to be eradicated, but was spared by the god Sul and sealed under the ocean beneath a thick ice sheet. The player begins the game as a captain of a submarine with the goal of gathering a team to reach the end of the "Endless ... more.

Gurumin 3D: A Monstrous Adventure is a cute little game about a girl named Parin who is sent to live with her grandfather while her parents are excavating ancient ruins. This title was originally released in 2004 as a Japanese RPG computer game and has found its way onto steam and PSP. The Mastiff team was able to get their hands on it and port it over to Nintendo 3DS. Boy, am I glad they did. It ... more.

Chase: Cold Case Investigations is a story-driven mystery game by Taisuke Kanasuki who is known for titles such as Hotel Dusk: Room 215 and Another Code/Trace Memory. Taisuke has teamed up with Aksys Games after the closure of Cing in 2010 to bring you a point-and-click game that is more visual novel than game. If you are looking for action in your game, this may not be the game for you. The ga... more.

It begins with an old man telling our heroes that they were last seen hundreds of years ago and that the king had disappeared from the world in their absence. The goal is to find the king before the enemy does. The heroes consist of an adventurer who has an epic beard and a female cleric, which can heal you when things go south. He then asks the heroes... more.

Resette's Prescription: Book of Memory by Liz Art is a point-and-click style game that focuses on story instead of gameplay. It may sound bad, but the story is very entertaining with well-rounded characters. The art style is phenomenal with amazing water colored back drops and cute chibi characters that create a gripping tale that will hold you for about three hours. The main character in this ... more.
  • I Want to Be Human! (Review) PC

Posted by on July 26, 2016 under PC, Reviews
I want to be human by Sinclair Strange is an odd love story between a vampire who uses a shotgun instead of her teeth and her boyfriend who has been turned into a hat. Yes, you really just read that. Smile Tech, which is a giant corporation, is looking for the secret to immortality and uses the couple as experiments to further their research. All of the backstory is in a comic strip format that ex... more.
  • Speedrunners (Review) PC

I have had the pleasure of playing Speedrunners by DoubleDutch games, and it is a blast. The game is simple; defeat the other four players in your group and using dirty tactics is encouraged. From the first moments when you open the menu to the race, you are sucked into this highly competitive and fun world. The music is straight out of a 60s superhero show and the character design is amazing. ... more.

  • Sadame Review (Nintendo 3DS)

Posted by on April 29, 2016 under Portables, Reviews
Rising Star's Sadame is a game that is reminiscent of the old RPG games that I used to play when I was younger, where you whack your way through the levels to get to the end of the game. It has an interesting story combined with an original art style that will draw the player in enough to keep playing to the end, but it is not without some flaws. The game often times feels as if it is trying to be... more.
  • Radio Hammer Review (Nintendo 3DS)

Posted by on March 24, 2016 under Portables, Reviews
Radio Hammer is an original and fast paced rhythm game that is available for the Nintendo 3DS. This game stands out as one of the quirkiest and original games that I have had the pleasure of playing, as it has you bopping enemies on the head with a giant hammer in time with the music. There are four different playable characters in the game; complete with their own backstory and type of enemy. The... more.
