Super Game Jam: Episode 2 & 3 – Now Available on Steam

Filmmakers Bram Ruiter and Daniel Oliveira Carneiro and independent game label Devolver Digital announced today that the second and third episode of game development documentary series Super Game Jam are now available on Steam. The series also adds Mac and Linux support and will be 20% off through the weekend to celebrate the launch of the next two episodes.

Episode Two follows Dominik Johann (Impetus, Laza Knitez!!) and Christoffer Hedborg (Shelter, Pid) in Berlin, Germany as they design the colorfully cute game Blossom based on the prompt of “gardening.”

Episode Three follows Sos Sosowski (McPixel, DOOM Piano) and Adam Drucker (doseone, Samurai Gunn) in Oakland, CA while they develop the local multiplayer insanity Catch of Death based on the theme of “family.”

Filmed in five cities over six months, Super Game Jam pairs two indie developers together for 48 hours and challenges them to create a game based on a theme suggested by their peers.

The games will come bundled as playable prototype downloads with the purchase of the series ($19.99 for all five episodes and games on Steam.)
