Star Swarm “Engine Demo” CES Coverage

Today, Oxide Games released a video of the Star Swarm engine demo shown at CES. The demo has Thousands of units running individual AI and physics in a dynamic simulation – so much PEW PEW PEW action we can hardly believe it! O_O

Star Swarm is not a game, but rather a demo showing off the Nitrous engine and what it means for the future of strategy games. Nitrous is capable of simulating and rendering large-scale, complex scenes never before seen in games, which opens doors to entirely new types of experiences that simply weren’t possible before.

Let me know if you want to set up an interview with the developers at Oxide Games or with Stardock about how they’re already using Nitrous in three games in active production.
