Doom Night III Logs 1 Frag Per Second of Game Time

Thursday, March 31st, 2010 North Potomac Maryland, Doom Night III was a resounding success with over two thousand frags (player kills) logged in just under sixty minutes of frantic game play (that is approximately 1 frag every second). Gamers came from all over the world to compete in the festivities and for the prize, a complete copy of the original shareware Doom on 2 3 1/2 inch floppy disks.

At the end of the night one Space Marine stood above, went beyond, the others- Cendoo of the United States of America who is a member of the Tiger Claw forums. Cendoo, you fought a better, more gallant, fight than anyone else that night and have earned our respect.

Doom Night is part of the Friday Night Fragfest, the brain child of Tiger Claw and is going into it’s fourth tournament, for which time, date and prize will be announced shortly.

To participate in Doom Night you will need a couple of things. One, you will need the Doom 2 wad file (Steam has made available Doom II). Second you will need a copy of a freeware program called Skulltag (available here). Further details will be made available, like server address, when they a finalized.

Don’t miss out on the next Doom Night, it will be a blast straight from hell.
