A soundtrack edition (game + soundtrack), is also available for $12.99. The Steam page includes a demo of the introductory sequence of the game.
Splice is a thoughtful puzzler that takes place in a cellular miniverse, where your task is to rearrange the cells in each puzzle into target shapes.
The game includes a main progression of basic puzzles and several more sequences of “epilogue” puzzles. Many of the puzzles also have devilishly difficult “angelic” solutions, which are found if the player completes a level in fewer moves than they’re given.
Splice is Cipher Prime’s fourth title, and our third Steam release. The game won Intel’s Level Up 2011 contest for best Puzzle Game.
The game soundtrack, Flight of Angels, is also available for a listen on Bandcamp. We plan on releasing the game on the Cipher Prime Store in the near future, for non-Steam users.
