Kalypso Confirms Tropico 5 and Dungeons 2 Console Launch Dates

Kalypso Media are pleased to confirm that two of its upcoming console titles will launch together on May 24, 2016 across North America and May 27 across Europe and Export territories – with Dungeons 2 arriving as a console exclusive on PlayStation 4 computer entertainment system, and El Presidente making his Xbox One debut complete with exclusive content in Tropico 5 Penultimate Edition.

Dungeons 2 challenges players to assume the role of The Dungeon Lord and craft a network of terrifying dungeons, using its resources to fuel a campaign against the forces of goodliness. Order your servant snots to do your bidding and fill your coffers with gold, amass an army of lurching minions and then head to the surface world of the humans to conquer The Overworld.

The Dungeons 2 PlayStation 4 edition will also boast an impressive collection of additional on-disc content including the “Pixieville,” “Morningwood,” “A Chance of Dragons,” “A Song of Sand and Fire,” and “A Clash of Pumpkins” add-on packs, which add more skirmishes, missions and enemies for the Ultimate Evil to eviscerate.

Tropico 5 Penultimate Edition for Xbox One will contain the full version of the acclaimed strategy game plus the ‘Bayo del Ofato,’ ‘Big Cheese,’ ‘Mad World,’ ‘Generalissimo,’ and ‘Joint Venture’ add-ons, as well as five new, exclusive Xbox One sandbox maps, a new controller-optimized user interface and of course Xbox Live Achievements. That’s a lot of content for your Tropician dollars!

To celebrate the long-awaited release date announcement for Tropico 5 Penultimate Edition, the Tropican Ministry of Propaganda and Misinformation has kindly produced a trailer for the Xbox One title, as it prepares to welcome Xbox players to Tropican shores once again.
