MonkeyPaw Games Wants You to Ring in the New Year With Class

If your New Year’s resolution is “more dungeon crawling,” we’ve got your back. MonkeyPaw Games and GAIJINWORKS’ epic PlayStation 3 role-playing game Class of Heroes 2G has been included in Week 4 of Sony’s annual Holiday Sale on the PlayStation Store.

From now through January 5, fans of turn-based JRPGs can score a digital copy of Class of Heroes 2G from the North American PlayStation Store for only $22.49, a rare, whopping 50% reduction of the suggested retail price. If you’re a PlayStation Plus member, the one-week sale price is only $17.99. Physical copies of the game on Blu-rayTM have long been sold out and regularly change hands for upwards of $75 on the collectors’ market.

“It’s an honor to be a part of the PlayStation Holiday Sale,” says John Greiner, president of MonkeyPaw Games. “You’ll never have a better opportunity to play the feature-enhanced second chapter of one of the best and longest-running dungeon crawler series in all of console gaming!”

Thanks to the efforts of MonkeyPaw Games and the localization team at GAIJINWORKS, Inc., the English-language version of Class of Heroes 2G is the first and only role-playing game to offer dual-screen play on a full-sized console. By pairing a PSP or PlayStation Vita with the PS3, players can use the handheld device as a controller and view monster stats, maps and other pertinent data on the second screen.

Developed by Zerodiv Inc. and originally published in Japan by Acquire Corp., Class of Heroes 2G has a large cast of charming characters, an extensive bestiary and mysterious, twisty labyrinths, making it one of the deepest and most replayable games in the dungeon crawler genre.
