PayDay 2: Crimewave Edition – Now Available

505 Games and OVERKILL – a Starbreeze Studio, today announced that PayDay 2: Crimewave Edition is available at retailers nationwide and for digital download via Xbox Live and PlayStation Network (PSN).

Originally released on Steam/PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, PayDay 2 is the original four player co-op shooter that once again lets gamers don the masks of Dallas, Hoxton, Wolf and Chains as they descend on Washington DC for an epic crime spree. Now released on the ‘next-generation’ consoles, PayDay 2: Crimewave Edition brings the spirit of what’s made it the most popular co-op based heist game over to a whole new wave of gamers.

PayDay 2: Crimewave Edition is not merely a “Remastered Edition” or “HD Remake.” It includes more than 18 months of paid DLC packs and a wide range of free updates and upgrades with more weapons and gadgets for an action packed heist experience.

“The Big Bank” heist is among a number of high-octane heists with multiple stage contracts added to PayDay 2: Crimewave Edition along with some of the latest DLC including “Hotline Miami” and the “Diamond Heist.”  John Wick, Dragan, Old Hoxton and Clover, the first female heister, all appear as playable characters while a new perk system and skill tree offer greater character customization. New visuals are intensified with improved frame rate, greater textures and 1080p resolution making this the prettiest crime spree to hit your HDTV.

Heists are perfectly executed with a new Preplanning feature that allows players to prepare strategies prior to missions. More than 140 customizable masks and 99 different weapons and legendary PayDay loot allows crews to progress to bigger, better and more rewarding heists than ever before.

PayDay 2: Crimewave Edition is now available at retail stores nationwide for Xbox One and PlayStation 4 for the suggested retail price of $49.99. The game is also available via digital download on Xbox Live online entertainment network from Microsoft for Xbox One and on the PlayStation Network for PlayStation 4.
