Dragons vs Unicorn – Gameplay Footage

Dragons vs Unicorn – Gameplay Footage

Digital Harmony Games, a new interactive entertainment developer of social, casual games, today unveiled the first game play video for Dragons vs. Unicorns, the first title to be launched from the newly developed company.  Players will battle for ultimate dominance in this action-packed multiplayer game for all iOS, Android Smartphones & Tablets, and PC & Mac browsers.

Dragons vs. Unicorns is expected to land on all devices in 2012; players can visit www.digitalharmonygames.com.

Included is the video is a look at the previously announced Kitten unit working on behalf of the Unicorns. The kitten packs a real punch, alongside its main nemesis from the Dragon’s cadre, the deadly Turtle.  These two units, melee and tank-types respectively, give a new meaning to “decking” the halls this holiday season!

Players also get a look at the fancy footwork of two newly revealed units: Bunny and Bat!  The “cuddly” Bunny joins the side of the carefree Unicorns, and provides ranged support for its fellow fluffy brethren.  Bats enter the fray under the command of the clearly superior Dragons, and their ranged prowess – including the ability to split into tiny bats which also attack on contact.  The dominance for air space has just begun!

Minions are the only elements that can directly damage an opponent’s tower without the use of abilities.  These player controlled minions, travel across the terrain from one opponent’s tower to the other opponent’s tower wreaking havoc along the way; clearly, choosing the right creature to inflict damage upon your enemy is key.

This first video look also shows how players can judge the amount of damage their castle has taken.  The front of the castle is the most defended area, and a good strategy is to attempt to land damaging attacks on top of the castle where it is not as strongly defended.  Or just have turtles bash it until it is dead.  Both are good options!

Dragon and Unicorn armies are comprised of four different unit categories: Melee, Ranged, Magic, and Tank.  With the four currently known units, there’s still plenty to see when Dragons vs. Unicorns reveals additional details next year leading up to its release.  Players are encouraged to tweet their guesses on what units may be coming next to @DigiHarmGames

Dragons vs. Unicorns offers an immersive experience with a simple and intuitive control scheme and easy click and gesture based control.  PVP fans will find dynamic physics with realistic damage in the sprite filled, sparkly rainbow and molten lava driven world.  Single player mode, VS Multiplayer, persistent player data, social connectivity and so much more will await players in this unique and politically incorrect world of Dragons and Unicorns.
