Fortix Update (Looking for a Qix Fix?)

Fortix Update (Looking for a Qix Fix?)

This is an update to Fortix by Nemesys, a game that we are wanting to help bring more awareness to and feel it is worth your time (plus there are new screens available). Check it out, let us know what you think, we are here to cover the stuff that matters to you, our readers.  Plus, there will be an updated version available for the PSP Minis service on February 11th.

Nemesys Team released Fortix, a puzzle game that hearkens back to the days of arcade games like Qix, easy to learn but hard to consistently win at. Fortix is a tale about a knight that has to travel the land drawing his path on the ground trying to capture castles and other key pieces of real estate by enclosing it. To win a level though, there is one piece of housing that has to be captured, the fortress in the middle of the screen (if you have played Qix or any game similar, you know how hard it can get to capture anything in the middle of the screen).

As you progress through the levels, more and more enemies and opposing turrets are added to the mix. If any monster or shell comes into contact with an incomplete line (meaning you are still out in the open creating it) then you lose a life. As the level progresses, the harder it will become to avoid enemies or artillery due to the smaller area available for them to move in.
